Profile
Built 1929 to 1932 and named The Vagabond’s House in 1946 for then famous author Don Blanding who penned several novels with us, including the poem Vagabond’s House. Purchased in 1976 by Denny Levett and now owned by his daughter Amanda Levett and managed by Thomas Rogers (former owner of Arco Iris Guest House in Puerto Vallarta). The Inn continues to be the place where artists, composers and writers come together with travelers holding an espresso, cup of tea or glass of wine by the fireplace or around the courtyard fire pit. The highly upgraded modern rooms cleverly reference vintage artifacts, such as water closets wallpapered with old books, reclaimed barn wood for sliding doors, mid century modern lobby furnishings and other unique and creative examples.
